Serenity for a Bride
Broomin Sisters was a location photo shoot for this bride. The twig/log arbor was constructed by an 80'ish gentleman who lives in the neighborhood, and our master gardener, Kathy. The bride looks peaceful and I think confident. (Although I wonder if she wants out from the arbor before it collapses on her!) This photo shoot was taken in late August of 08, about 6 weeks after the flood. The gardens were already lush after a few rains washed the mud away.

Paradise...
Do you have a favorite place that you call Paradise? Standing in my backyard garden, with a morning cup of coffee, looking at what blooms peeped out overnight...then...ding,ding, ding... the church bell chimes.
You talk about goose bumps! That is Paradise on Vinton Street in Palo.
The quietest couple of blocks in a community that is swelling with pride and determination, while we continue to recover from 08's flood.
Today we were greeted with many familiar faces. Customers who "rediscovered" us and many new faces. Business has been good and we have so much fun hearing the sweet comments about our shops!
All the flowers seem lusher and just healither than before. My purple Iris are taller than the picket fence out front! We are planting, weeding, polishing and painting what we can to prepare for our THIRD ANNUAL GYPSY Market. Mark down June 27th...Saturday. It is going to be a Bloomin Fun Day!!!
